These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BuySideDigest.com (the “Site”), operated by BuySide Digest (“BuySide Digest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, browsing, registering for, subscribing to, or using the Site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Site.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
BuySide Digest provides access to a curated and proprietary database of investor letters, investment commentary, stock pitches, research materials, summaries, and related content (collectively, the “Content”). Access to some or all Content may require payment of subscription fees.
The Site is intended solely for informational and educational purposes.
Nothing on the Site constitutes investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or investment strategy.
BuySide Digest is not registered as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, investment analyst, or financial planner with any regulatory authority. You acknowledge that:
All investment decisions are made at your own risk
You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence
Past performance is not indicative of future results
We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or outcomes.
The Site may display, reproduce, summarize, reference, or host content originating from third parties, including investment managers, authors, contributors, or other sources (“Third-Party Content”).
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

BuySide Digest acts solely as a passive publisher and distributor of Third-Party Content
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuySide Digest disclaims all liability for Third-Party Content, including any errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or legal claims arising from such content.
All Content, including but not limited to text, data, compilations, databases, organization, structure, selection, and presentation, is owned by or licensed to BuySide Digest and is protected by copyright, database rights, trademark laws, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view Content solely for your personal, internal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
The Site contains proprietary databases protected under applicable database rights and unfair competition laws. Any extraction, reuse, or reproduction of all or a substantial portion of the database is strictly prohibited.
You may not, directly or indirectly, without our express written consent:
Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, scripts, APIs, browser automation, or similar tools
Manually or automatically extract, download, scrape, index, mine, or store Content
Circumvent or bypass paywalls, access controls, rate limits, or authentication systems
Aggregate Content into datasets, newsletters, databases, platforms, or competing services
Resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit any Content
Any unauthorized data extraction or resale constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination, permanent bans, and legal action including injunctive relief and damages.
You are strictly prohibited from using any Content, in whole or in part, to:
Train, fine-tune, validate, or benchmark artificial intelligence systems
Develop or improve machine learning models, large language models, or neural networks
Generate synthetic data, embeddings, or derivative datasets
Power automated analysis tools, trading systems, or decision engines
This prohibition applies regardless of whether the use is commercial, non-commercial, internal, or experimental.
Any such use constitutes irreparable harm to BuySide Digest and may result in immediate termination and legal action.
Certain Content requires payment. By purchasing access, you agree that:
Access is licensed, not sold
Credentials may not be shared, transferred, or sublicensed
Use is limited to the authorized individual or entity
We reserve the right to monitor usage, suspend access, or terminate subscriptions without refund if misuse, credential sharing, scraping, or circumvention is detected.
BuySide Digest respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice including:
Identification of the copyrighted work
Identification of the allegedly infringing material
Your contact information
A statement of good-faith belief
A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
Your physical or electronic signature

We reserve the right to remove content and terminate repeat infringers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuySide Digest and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or Content.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to BuySide Digest in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Site and Content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BuySide Digest and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse or redistribution of Content
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. All provisions that by nature should survive termination shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
