Source: anrangas.com The main thing in this post for me is an update on $0681.hk - Chinese People Holdings Co., after it and one of its listed partners both released their annual reports. The frustrating thing with the stock is that I believe I am right on the absurd-cheap valuation, and… actually quite decent operating performance, and… surprisingly strong incoming dividends from associates & joint ventures, but… obviously I was very wrong on having a positive value visualisation/unlocking catalyst with the 2025 results… as they were massively kitchen-sinked by (non-cash) impairment charges. Mr. Market says that cheapness does not matter as long as there is not something visibly attractive (dividends, huge profits, AI, whatever…). So, I have been very wrong on this stock thusfar… 😬😳… and then the gas supply disruption from the situation in the Middle East won’t make this year any easier. Some other notable recent developments imo, included…ClearPoint partner/customer uniQure is reviving investor excitement for a relatively quick market launch of AMT-130 against Huntington’s Disease…. in the United Kingdom. uniQure just announced the intention……to submit a UK Marketing Authorization Application for AMT-130 is expected in the third quarter of 2026“We are encouraged by the constructive feedback from the MHRA (United Kingdom’s (UK) Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) as we continue to work towards a regulatory submission for AMT-130 in Huntington’s disease, which we now expect to submit in the third quarter of this year,” said Matt Kapusta, chief executive officer of uniQure. A successful market launch in the UK alone could be enough to catapult ClearPoint into profitability imo.In other news… Surprisingly, Mr. Market continues to largely ignore the potential of economic fallout due to the situation in the Middle East, and I am seeing some insurance stocks breaking out to multi-year highs… asr Nederland ASRNL.as - Dutch insurerSource: Yahoo FinanceAegon AGN.as - transforming into Transamerica, US insurerSource: Yahoo FinanceAegon AEG.usSource: Yahoo FinanceJaminvest resourcesSome useful links to key resources on Jaminvest. 🏷️ - Financial models/templates/et cetera (f🔐)🏷️ - Hong Kong (sub-)portfolio posts🏷️ - Portfolio posts (f🔐) » » - Stock/Company list (2026), alphabetical lists of many of the stocks mentioned🏷️ - Tutorials including Excel sheetsPlease find the disclaimer for all @ content » here.
